The Playgroup at Kingswood Methodist Church has been open since 1988 and meets each morning in the Church hall with the exception of Thursdays. We currently cater for children between the ages of two and half years and four years and welcome parents to work alongside the staff as volunteers. We aim to make each child's time enjoyable and stimulating and help prepare them for School.

Our activities follow the Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage. Well planned and resourced activities take the children's learning forward and provide opportunities for the children to feel cared and valued. We enable each child to reach their full potential at their own pace in a happy environment. learning through play gives each individual the opportunity to explore, investigate, experience and gain confidence in understanding their world.

The Playgroup is a registered charity and is run by a Parents Committee. We are inspected by Ofsted and receive Nursery Education Grant Funding.
